– accuse school of attempting to perpetrate fraud on themVisibly upset parents gathered outside of the Third Avenue,Tristan Thompson Cavaliers Swingman Jersey, Subryanville, Georgetown Mae’s Schools complex yesterday to express frustration over a decision taken by the administrators of the institution. Some of the upset parents congregate outside of the school yesterday. The decision, several parents revealed yesterday, will essentially affect their children’s elevation to Grade Six.They are convinced that this development stemmed from recent moves by the Grade Six teachers of the school,Jordan Morris Jersey, to make public some issues that are allegedly prevailing at the privately operated institution. One parent, Robin Somra, told this publication yesterday that the administrators of the school had asked parents of Grade Five pupils to pay an additional $20,000 towards their children’s education. The regular school fee per term is $60,000.“We have to pay $80,000 now,” said Somra. He said that the school’s administrators had in fact promised that their children would have been exposed to the Grade Six teachers from this term.He informed that because parents are aware of the high quality of the Grade Six teachers they were willing to comply with paying the additional $20,000.But according to Somra,Rob Holding Arsenal Jersey UK, the teachers have been opposed to the move since they are now required to work additional hours without additional compensation. The teachers, he noted, had made public their concerns, some of which have been publicised in the media.Somra said that he later learnt that the administrators of the school had reportedly retaliated by cutting the teachers’ pay by $20,000.“How is it that you are charging the parents an additional $20,000 but yet you take $20,000 from the teachers?” questioned Somra as he pointed out that despite the payment of the requested sum the school has decided to withdraw the offer of exposing the pupils to Grade Six lessons. He disclosed that at a meeting with the Administrators of the school on Monday it was announced that the agreement to expose the children to the Grade Six teachers was no longer possible.“They are telling us that our children will have to continue to work with the Grade Five teachers until Common Entrance even after we have paid our $20,000,” said Somra. “That is not the agreement we had…you can’t take our money then change your agreement that is fraud.”He disclosed that the parents decided to congregate outside of the school yesterday since they are convinced that they have been served an unjust act.“All of us share the same views,Alyssa Naeher Jersey, all of us have the same concerns…we want the best for our children – That is why we chose Mae’s School,Carli Lloyd Jersey,” said Somra of himself and the other parents gathered outside the school yesterday. He said that the parents gathered at the school yesterday as they were informed on Monday that the administrators, after speaking to the School’s Board would have had an update on the matter. But according to Somra, an administrator came to the gate of the school yesterday after parents gathered there and with some degree of arrogance related that “we can do whatever we wanted because they are not changing their decision.”This, according to Somra, was followed by the administrator closing the gate in the face of the parents. It was at this point that the parents decided to call in the media to vent their frustration.“We need justice…the school has to keep its promise,” chanted some of the parents yesterday.“We believe they are doing all of this to get at the Grade Six teachers; they probably want to get rid of them. But why must they do things to put our children in jeopardy?” questioned a parent.“They have issues with their teachers but they need to sort out their problems. We paid extra and we need to get what we paid for,” insisted another parent. The parents are also calling on the Ministry Education to look into the operations of the private school. “I think the Ministry needs to get these private schools in check because it seems as though they can take people money and do what they want to do. This is not fair to us,” said a parent who added,Taylor Mays USC Jersey, “We have been compromising over time but on this occasion our children are going to be really affected and we can’t just sit back.”Attempts to solicit a comment from an administrator of the school, by way of telephone, was met with “Sorry we don’t have anything to say on the matter.”An employee of the school however informed of the possibility of a statement being issued on the matter. The administrators of the school were engaged in a meeting yesterday that might have been convened to address the situation.
